I was born and raised on Long Island, which provided me with a very early exposure to the city and its rich theatre scene. I was very active in theatre throughout school and, during senior year, developed a student run drama program which still exists to this day. My passion led me to study at SUNY New Paltz from which I graduated in 2009 with a concentration in Theatre Performance.
My grandfather was Robert Goulet. Not the late crooner, mind you, but Robert Goulet none the less. In classic grandparent fashion, he never missed an opportunity to brag about his grandson: the actor. He's gone now, but before he died, I promised him that I would make it. I've since learned that "making it" can mean a multitude of things, but I'm still here, continuing down this path and I know that would be enough for him.
blonde and most patient of women is my girlfriend, Brittany Lacey. She's a gifted actress, though I'd say she's most adept at dealing with me and my keen ability to deflect serious situations with humor.
Outside of work, I'm big into the competitive gaming scene and love to relax in front of my Xbox. I love the feeling of accomplishment after spending a morning detailing my car. I'm quite guilty of falling down the YouTube rabbit hole searching for new ways to pamper my beard. Blogging for StageAgent has provided a terrific outlet for my love of writing. I'm a sucker for a good book and prefer paperback to e-readers. I find cooking extremely therapeutic; my speciality is quiche! I love spending time on the water in my kayak, which was a big part of the decision when it came time to pick out a car.
I identify as half-Jewish, though I'm not particularly religious. I grew up with huge influences from both sides of my family so it's more of a cultural thing. Seriously, have you tried kugel?
