It's been six years to the month, but I've finally taken the next big step in my career and joined AEA! Forward, never backward. Up, never down.
I was born and raised on Long Island, which provided a very early exposure to NY's rich theatre scene. I was very active in drama throughout school and even started a student run drama program my senior year. This lead me to study theatre at SUNY New Paltz from which I graduated in 2009.
My grandfather was Robert Goulet. Not the late crooner, mind you, but Robert Goulet none the less. In classic grandparent fashion, he never missed an opportunity to brag about his grandson: the actor. He's gone now, but before he died, I promised him that I would "make it". I've since learned that can mean a multitude of things, but I'm still here, continuing down this path and I know that would be enough for him.
In my spare time, I'm a big gamer and love to relax in front of my Xbox. I like to spend Sunday mornings pampering my car and spend far too much (when the contract allows) amassing oils and other tinctures to rub in my beard. Blogging for StageAgent scratches my writing itch and I'm a sucker for a good (paperback) book. Cooking is my therapy; my speciality is quiche! I love a good bourbon or whiskey and am on a constant pilgrimage to find the perfect Old Fashioned.
blonde & most patient of women is my fiancee , Brittany Lacey. She's a gifted actress, though I'd say she's most adept at dealing with me & my keen ability to deflect serious situations with humor.
